In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.
Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!
Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!
Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!
You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!
1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Starting out August with weekly goals again... we'll see how that goes. We can always try it for a week and switch back to finishing out the month in one thread.
I rather miss the feeling of a clean slate each week... but I can sure go either way.
Looking forward to a bit of Fall as it means cooler temps and no kids in the pool after school starts!

Weekly Goals for Aug 1st-Aug 7th
- Water - 6/24oz bottles -
- In bed by 11pm - read a bit in my book, light out by 12am latest.
- Pick up some fruits and veggies Monday
Keeping my list tiny so I can not feel overwhelmed by it. I see my GP/doc Weds so I can see if I can get back to normal activities.
That would be so nice.

Goals for the Week of August 1 to 7.
1) Food - Track at least 4 days
2) Exercise - 3 days
3) Water - 16oz a day everyday
Water is the one thing I really have a hard time with. Not that I don't like drinking it, it is just that I don't drink enough fluids at all. I may have a cup of tea in the morning, glass of juice or water at lunch, glass of juice at dinner and that is for the day. Going to really work hard on the water. I find I drink more water on the days I go to the gym.

- Sleep...I'm really trying but since being sick sleeping at night is so difficult, it's like it's thrown my whole system off. I did go to bed Sunday night with lights out by 12:03am (ohhh so close 12am!). Then next thing I know it's 130am and I'm wide awake and turning on the light to wash the kitchen floor etc. sigh It's nearly 2am now.. I did take a nap this afternoon so finishing this up and turning the lights out will be good for me to do.
- Did pick up some fruits and veggies for some yummy salads..looking forward to making that up tomorrow/today.

Hi Ladies...Sorry I haven't checked in this week. I have decide to try out a gym this week and have had a great time. I am starting out easy but really enjoying it. I got a personal trainer for the first visit and he set up a program for me for a month. Once I am done with this program he will set up a new program for me. I have found a friend who always wants to start going to the gym so it has given me more motivation to go as I don't want to let her down. As for my weight I haven't lost anything in a month but have really started to watch what I eat and hope going to the gym 3 days a week will help.
I am looking forward to August as that is going to be a NEW beginning for me. My goal is to lose 40lbs this year(would be ecstatic if I could lose 50) , would really like to lose it in 6 months but won't push myself too hard as I don't want to get disappointed if I don't lose it in 6 months.
Will set up my goals tomorrow....
I wanted to pull your post over from last week/month so it wasn't missed by other members since everything you're up to is so exciting.

@Lost_It Wow, how exciting, I love belonging to a gym too. SO much variety, so many things to try out, classes, pool, weights etc. at my Y. A personal trainer is wonderful they can help you out in personal ways that are sometimes when we don't know what direction to start in first.
I'm so happy for you! Fabulous that you have an accountability buddy...it can make all the difference in the world to you both getting to your workouts. Your weight goals sound great and now you've got your trainer setting workout goals with you.. what a great combo!

Check in for Weds Looking for a RESTART as I type this tonight..I can't keep not sleeping, it's messing with my mind and body too much! So I AM doing a lights out by Midnight no excuses for turning the lights back on. Plan on turning this off and making a small list of what I need to accomplish tomorrow. Then to bed.
Water - did good!
Sleep Schedule - It'll be lights out by Midnight tonight.

- Sleep Schedule - Made even better progress last night. I feel great about that!
- Now I need to continue to work on mindful eating, logging even if it's not something I planned on eating. It's as if everything went out the window when I got sick, sleep, mindful eating, exercise (being ill had a fair bit to do with that) etc. I want to carefully incorporate those back in my day.
- Loving myself enough to be kind and forgiving as I try to develop better habits.

I love this group soooo much! Always positive, encouraging and inspiring thoughts & vibes!
I fell of my groove the end of July, but I am back for August Heat and all! I brought plenty of fish, and veggies and I am ready to roll! I kept my step goals the 1st week, but aweful on calories and result weight gain

And don't worry about getting back on track, you will find your way. Unfortunately most disruptions in our normal routine, knock us off track for a minute. But because we are always mindful of this, we know not to give up until we get back on it. Have a good week next week! and good job this week!1 -

Wow what a weekend!!!!!....Had dental surgery Friday so had to eat soft food for the day. Went camping for 2 days, had our 4 year old Grandson spend the night with us camping and had a great time fishing. Our grandson caught his own Rainbow Trout and he ate it for dinner tonight. Now to the bad stuff..,,,WE WENT CAMPING!!!!so that meant a few drinks( you know what I am talking about) and snacking food. I am a little scared to step on the scale tomorrow. BUT I had a great time with our Grandson.

Lost it- what a crazy weekend you had. Some good and some not so good. Glad you had a great time camping with your grandson. Reset this week and just move forward. One step at a time.

I am doing the steps, so that is wonderful, but can't get the binge monster in control. The only good thing is I am getting my steps in, I am maintaining my weight, and no binging on fast foods.
