    Good afternoon. I'm Doug in Akron, Ohio and I'm new to this group. It's good to meet you. I'm joining this group because I believe that you can't have enough friends or enough support on this weight loss/fitness journey.

    For me personally, I'm down about 50 pounds from my all time high weight of 293. I lost about 30 pounds on my own before I joined MFP in 2013, and the 20 pounds since I've joined MFP. The past several months have been unfocused, and as a result, I'm on a bit of a plateau and not losing or gaining weight. I'm working to try and start losing again and to move the scale south. Ultimately, I want to get to about 193 pounds.
