Originally I was going to do it tomorrow.....but I am getting drug to a concert tonight and I will be driving so I know I will be kept busy in the hours I'm usually the hungriest. Errands to run today so I figured a busy distracted day would be best. Can I still drink my flavored hot tea as long as it is zero calories?

Hey
Yes, you can have any drink that is zero calories if you are choosing to not eat at all.
Good decision to choose a day where you'll be busy and not dwelling on food. Hope the concert is fun!
Good luck!0 -
I hope you are doing well!0

It went pretty well. Stayed busy. Got 38000 steps in yesterday and didn't really feel hungry. Didn't break yesterday's fast till 11 am today ☺ I might have to shift my next fast day to tomorrow because of a few schedule changes.....but what I find myself liking about this approach is the control I have.2

I've not tried going without food completely so I'm impressed. I'll be interested in hearing how you continue to do ^^ Are you going to be following your calories on non-fast days and if so, what sort of goal are you shooting for?0

38000 steps? Holy cow! Do you have a fit bit or how do you track that? How long did that take you? I can walk about 6km in about 70 mins which is about 8000 steps, then take my dog out, plus extra just walking around steps & shopping steps bring me to around 10-14000.... Id be very interested in your routine, 'cause that's impressive!! Way to go!0

I do have a fit bit. I just basically never sit down till the evening. I even step in place when I fold laundry and do dishes. I average about 31000 on most days.1

Your steps are impressive!! Well done, and in so happy you're rat fast day went well. Have you read about 5/2 yet? You still seem to have simple questions like about calories in tea, so seems like you're still a little confused. Please read about it or watch the documentary! You won't regret it0

I have read up on it, watched the Documentary a couple of times0

Welcome! I too found early on the best part of this plan is the control I have. There are no "setbacks" or punishment or weigh in or Points or long term deprivation of activities or foods I enjoy. I can choose what days I'll fast and what I'll eat on days I don't fast. I can have carbs and red meat and sweets.
I control my eating, it does not control me!1
