Did the half-century version of the Portland Century with friends on Sunday. Nice weather albeit cool (lo t0s to upper 60s by finish with one "hairspray mist" for about 3 minutes in the middle. Better than the near 100deg last year for sure.
How about you??0 -
got a 20-25 mile ride on the Sat. Woke up with a leg cramp that made walking difficult but after stretching riding was no issue. This was flat ride along the bike trails. Sunday was a leisurely ride with family/friends along the river bike trail. 15 miles at a much slower pace than I normally do. Broke 2100 miles for the year this morning on the commute to work.0

Gosh I have more miles than I thought. I am at just over 2400 after my Sunday ride. I always like getting in over 3000 in a year. It's looking good that way. Yeah doing commutes and errands really adds up in my book in addition to the just fun stuff.0

Rode my bike to my favorite forest preserve yesterday, ran 14 miles, then rode back. That got me 20 miles on the bike. I really like the bike-run-bike days! The bike is my warmup and cooldown.
I need to catch up my mileage log to see where I am at for the year. I'm hoping to break 1,000 biking miles this year.0 -
anything over 3000 is good for me because of the chance of the four letter word starting with sn*& could shorten my riding season in the spring or fall.0

I did an easy solo 22 miler on Saturday. Nothing on Sunday - was feeling under the weather...still am. Going to try to do a moderate 70 miler on Saturday in prep for the Cool Breeze Century on 8/20. We'll see how that goes. Not really feeling the joie de vivre of cycling right now.0
