This gem still lives on in the WW webosphere:

What could possibly top (no pun intended) Shendler Pie? Maybe Shendler Pie in a hot tub?1

GoaD stuff never dies.
Those links are like a time capsule.

That's a classic Charlie, good stuff0
-
Great one Charlie even if I didn't join in on it.0
-
Glad that one's marked for posterity, Charlie (or until WW poofs it, whichever comes first)... It sure helped me with my transition from loser to maintainer.0
-
Thanks Charlie, glad I was able to reread and save that one. It was a good one.0
-
Charlie, that link really brought back some memories of some of the "olbies" on the GOAD board!
And Shendler Pie -- well, what can we say about THAT?! LOL Guess the humor/sarcasm was lost to the WW gods.0 -
Because they didn't have the sarcasm font0

Well, we'll add this trinket from the treasure trove:

"I'm just wondering what a preacher's doing in a jacuzzi with 2 women? "
SalinasDave dropped the microphone and walked off stage after that one.
We gotta find a way to get Becca back, she was always good at stirring up some good conversations.1 -
47 pages? I only skimmed the first page. I guess in the good old days (before my time), things really were busier!0

Well, it spirals off-topic pretty quickly. Then its 43 pages of haiku.0 -
And this great thread showing people can change their attitudes about food (and people).

I just re-read this one recently (I can't why I ran across it). I love it! Jim showed some serious class! No big flounce, but instead a willingness to understand and to change.0 -

Just tried the WW comunity and unable to bring it up. As a non-payer, LT member I guess I am screwed. Oh well...their loss.0

I this thread.
I remember the concept well, but had forgotten the name "Shendler Pie." Lol.0 -

The links we've posted still work, though. Then you can click on the "goad" option at the top of the posting. You just can't get to the boards from the 'Community' tab.
Not that there's much to see -- just the Roll Call & the Redirect sending people here.0 -
Here's a direct link to the message board index page, if you want to go to some other board. Most of them are posting redirects, i.e., where the group has moved to on MyFitnessPal or some other site.

That jacuzzi one will live in my mind forever.
Have I mentioned how much I like being able to edit here!?0
