What is my body doing??

Hi, I am new here. I am 5' 10" @ 165 lbs. I am a heathy, " normal " weight range but not where I want to be. I used to be 135 lbs and that is where I feel most comfortable. Unfortunately due to a Crossfit arm injury, I had to take almost a year off. 4 weeks ago I started a 4 day split in strength training as well as HIIT and steady state cardio which both are done on alternate days after weight work. My caloric daily intake is 1200 calories which is logged in MyFitness Pal-food tracker . I alow myself 1 cheat meal per week. My husband and I have noticed my body shape is smaller and a lot tighter which is progress,however, when I went and tried on my size 10 jeans today, I noticed that they fit exactly the same as they did before I started working out. This makes me sad and confused. Why can I see changes, but it doesn't reflect in my clothing?

    It's been just four weeks. Just keep going and your body will change and you will notice it with you clothing too.

    4 weeks is too soon to be noticing much difference in your clothing size.
