For all those experiencing higher temperatures, remember to hydrate and stay cool. Also check on the elderly family members, friends and neighbors. Here in NJ, temperature is high 90's with heat indexes around 105.

How's the weather in your neck of the woods?

Triple-digit temps all of August so far, but relief expected this weekend. Typical summer weather here in Texas. The heat is a fair trade to avoid winters of freezing temperatures, snow and ice - IMO.

80+, again. It was until it rained (about 2 inches in as many hours) and it cooled down to ~70. Now the sun's out again and the temp's come back up. I knew there was a reason I lived in the Western US for about 20 years...

We've added torrential rain to hot and steamy. That's MI in the summer though.

mid 90's again, but our usual low humidity. Which along with fairly mild winters is why we can never ever move

Current temp is 88 with a heat index of 100. But we are in a "heat warning" until 8:00 tonight. Heat index is expected to reach 115 by mid-afternoon.

Because I'm on a beach, there IS a breeze. But it's the equivalent of setting an oven temperature to 500, opening the oven door, and putting a fan in front of it.

And the pool is like bath water.

NJ is now warmer than FL. Our actual temp is 97, and with the humidity heat index, it feels like 110. You get hot and sweaty just getting the mail from the mailbox at the end of the driveway. I love summer, but this is even too hot for the beach :o
