anyone losing weight on LC while on antidepressents ? Iv been on 20mg Prozac for last 4 years and have put up over 30lb despite exercising and going lc numerous times. Iv found the weigh impossible to shift...in fact its been creeping up!

Iv tapered myself off it over last few weeks. Now completely off it over 2 weeks and am starting LC again.

Anyone else lost the 'antidepressent' weight ?

My spouse is losing after stopping meds. His doctor kept saying, "It's middle-age weight gain not the meds," however he gained quite rapidly when starting them (belly ballooned) and now it's melting off without much effort after stopping them. Besides this period, he's always worn medium sizes, and he fits in his old clothes again now after about four months. It's not that he's depressed again and not eating; he left a job where he was miserable and now feels much better.

I guess I'm fortunate(?) to be on Wellbutrin, since it generally causes weight loss instead of gain. The last time I tried to go off it I gained 7 pounds in a few weeks. Maybe I will try again after a few more months of keto under my belt.

I take tons of meds for my Fibro, insulin, and an antidepressant thrown in there too! I've been able to lower my neurotin thanks to the benefits of my new way of eating. My pain levels have dropped a great deal.
