I just wanted to do a little post about how surprised I was with the food offered in disneyland paris and how easily it could be adapted for low carb.
Breakfast was mainly croissants, bread and cereal but it was manageable with a few different choices of cheeses and cold sliced meat.
I was worried that the whole trip would be burgers and pizzas but the food offered in the higher end buffets was varied and actually very tasty.
Plaza gardens and restaurant des stars had tuns to choose from. Low carb options such as; salad, smoked salmon, shellfish such as prawns and mussels, salamis and cured meats were great for starters. Main meals could consist of roast beef, roast pork, roast lamb, rotisserie chicken, roast gammon, salmon fillets, veg like broccoli and green beans. There was bottles of oil and packets of butter available for upping the fat too.
The desserts looked amazing but unfortunately not very low carb and all were pastries or cake. Luckily they both had some great cheese boards to be found by the salad areas.
Low carb while on a trip to disneyland paris is easy to do, especially if you pack some snacks like nuts or pork scratchings.
Hope this might be helpful for anyone wondering about keeping with this WOE while there.
