Going to a Baby Shower and...

Hello my fellow Medifasters!

I am going to my sister's baby shower and I am determined to not stray from the plan. They are serving brisket and all of the BBQ sides, as well as cake and punch. I am taking a Medifast bar and brownie, and 1/2 of my lettuce from my lean and green meal to eat with the brisket. I also plan to drink plenty of water while I am there and I am taking my own diet sodas. Any other tips? I am less than 10 pounds from my goal and I don't want to be set back by temptation.

    How long are you going to be there? The food you've listed should cover at least six hours, I'd think. Just eat something when it's "time" to eat, and when you're done, stop. :-) Have more water or a diet soda if you get tempted, and holding one is generally useful when people try to push more food on you. As are the phrases - 'oh, I had some', and 'thanks, I'm good'. :-)
