Hello ladies! I have been struggling with finding a fitness regimen filled with something that I actually enjoy that will make me strong. I want to try lifting. I was looking up some info on www.nerdfitness.com to find out where I should start. Since I'm heavy now (230lbs) I was thinking of body weight training. Where did you ladies start? Any good starter advice?

I'd say watch some videos on how to lift, just to ensure you've got good form and won't get injured.
Perhaps a session with a PT to get an idea of where to start?
There is great information on google about "StrongLifts" and a free app called "5x5 StrongLifts".2 -
I'm struggling with getting past intimidation factor of walking into the big kid area! I want to own that cage/rack... hehehe but until then, I settle for Barbell class....0
