Beef jerky? -UK

I've over done it on the pork scratchings lately! Tried some beef jerky - lovely! My local supermarket (tesco) does Wild West which is full of carbs and one called cruga biltong which is much better but its pretty expensive.
Are there any cheaper alternative brands at other shops? Or can anyone recommend somewhere online please? Happy to buy bulk (no chilli flavour!), best I've found is £30-35 per kilo.
Any help would be appreciated

You could make it yourself. Use a beef roast and cut it thin. You can use a dehydrator, your oven or just line dry the strips (works here in Colorado- hardly any humidity though). I have been told you get thinner cuts if you freeze it first.
Season how you like. My mom used to use fajita mix. My personal favorite was when she let it sit in dill pickle juice and liquid smoke for a few hours and then dried it. I love pickles- it's not for everyone.4 -
This is a lovely idea, thank you0

Alternatively, find a South African butcher, they often do it (or so I am told my by SA friend who buys in bulk from his SA butcher) Biltong (beef jerky) is really popular amongst them.2
