I adore Mate as a friend suggested it to me a few years ago. I came across a great forum thread discussing the benefits, and I wanted to share. I get mine at Trader Joes, Sprouts or Whole Foods.

I find it at health food stores such as Trader Joes, Sprouts or Whole Foods. It is cheaper to buy in bulk. I last bought a bag for $12. It comes in loose leaf form. I have seen tea bags of it, yet it isn't appealing to myself. I tend to put it in a coffee filter and brew it into the pot, but it is possible to use a tea ball. The serving size on the bag is 1.5 tbsp. Typically, I don't drink more than 8 oz. a day as it will clean out the intestines. It is possible to drink at any time of the day. Hope that helps.

I drink the fluorescent green brazilian stuff that comes in vacuum packed kilo sizes. I've never seen the sense of mate teabags. I invested in a mate cup and a good thermos. wonderful.

There is a health food like place near where I work. Think I'm going to go check to see if they have any. Price check!

I use Guayaki Yerba Mate Chocolatte Tea Bags that I buy at Kroger in the health food section. I don't drink it daily but it is a delicious blend. I prefer the ease of tea bags

I found some Mate tea at the health store. They didn't have any loose leaf kinds but there was pre bagged. Hopefully it's good! Going to try some later today around lunch time!

we have a Ralph's which is a Kroger store, I'll have to check there before I go spend more than I have to at Sprouts!
