So I decided to do an experiment today as MFP is always telling after I do my exercises and my diary that I am not eating enough calories. So I decided to do my diary today with no exercises at all and when I completed my diary it said I had 152 calories left for the day and guess what MFP reckons you guessed it that I am not eating enough calories I mean what do they expect I thought I done good with the amount of calories left I think I might go back to what I normally do and that is exercise and my diary and if I cant eat all my calories bad luck because I am already full and cant fit anymore in.

How many calories are you having a day? I just reduced mine to 1400 and am being disciplined to go under each day but maybe this is still too much?
  • It starts with 1200 calories and by the time I log my exercises it can go anywhere between 1700 and just over 2000 calories a day I am flat out trying to get the 1200 in let alone the extra it wants me to have

Before you started trying to lose weight you would have been eating in excess of what you are supposed to eat now so it isn't that hard if you think about it. The exercise calories can be wrong so try to aim for around half to three quarters of them. You can easily up your calories eating healthier thing like more avocado, nuts/seeds, nut butter, trail mix, dried fruits, whole grains, healthy oils like olive or coconut, whole eggs, full fat dairy.. or have a bowl of ice cream, chocolate milk or a couple of glass or red wine if it's too hard.
  • On my phone i have an app called icardio on which tells me how many minutes and how many calories that i done and burned so that is what i go by its rare that i eat any sweet food i add my coffee intake of the day into my snacks and i got some salted mixed nuts from my local supermarket today i dont have enough salt anyway so that should help balance my sodium out a bit at least. I also bought some k-time twists and each one has 127 calories so that may help also with the calories.
