I had a hard week. My eating's on calorie wise, but not making the best choices all the time. I've been low on water in take. My runs have sucked - I'm quitting in the middle, not finding my stride, just yuck. The scale went up this week on account of PMS and all the above. Just a really bad few weeks for me.

With all of that said - My NSV is I have NOT given up. I still lace up and run everyday. I still log my food and hit 155 days of logging today. I'm still doing what needs to be done to transform my life.

Yesterday, I went out shopping with my partner and bought a new pair of Chinos at Banananananananana (i never know when to stop) Republic. But clothes shopping is tough because I've lost so much already and I'm about to go on another huge push and expect to lose quite a bit more. How much should you spend when you know you are no where near where you will end up (and I WILL end up there). But they were size 31s (a bit bigger than needed) so I'm happy. Not bad for a 57 year old guy. But I also got a size 32 belt. Belts run bigger than pants sizes in men and I've never gotten near a 32 belt. So that felt really great. Left plenty of room to use the last 3-4 notches too.

I've been trying to figure out where the best place for me to set my calories is, so this week has been tough for me too while I tried to adjust and figure it out.

But my NSV was that I not only completed the 30 minute express circuit once, but twice last week!! So now I am going to do it twice a week and just cardio one day. I couldn't believe it! I am also focusing on getting 10,000 steps per day in now that I have a nifty Withings Pulse to help me keep track, and keep me motivated to get there! I've definitely been taking the long way this week to get more steps in.
