WELCOME everyone!!
Wow, September already, what will your challenge be this month?
Are you going to walk outside, or are you going to find some walking DVD's and walk inside? Will you make your miles on a bicycle? a treadmill?
September here in Saskatchewan is a beautiful time of the year as the leaves start to change color.
This time of year walking or hiking outdoors might well be a pleasant opportunity to enjoy the wonderful sights, scents, tastes, and of course the amazing colors of Autumn.
This group is open to any and all walkers. However you get your walk in, come on in and join us! Post your miles or minutes that you have walked, however you did it... it is all good!
Together we will motivate, challenge, as well as inspire each other.
Set your goal for how many miles or minutes that you want to walk, indoors or out, this month. This is your own personal goal . Post your results daily, weekly, or whenever you like.
There is no set time to start this challenge, join us at anytime, log when you can.

September goals will be a challenge!! I am probably being harsh on myself. The grand kids will be here every Tuesday, plus any days the other grandparents are harvesting. I need to get my pension papers finished up...hopefully they arrive in the mail in sufficient time.

Since retiring on July 14th ....It has taken me a month and half and some very vigorous walking and weight lifting to get the scale to budge. I always told people that once I retired I would be healthier and I am committed to that. I wish I had wrote a quote down that I read a couple days ago...but the jest of it was ..." don't wait for something to happen, make it happen, the anxiety of waiting for something to happen can eat away at you making you feel sicker than you are"..... not sure if this is your scenario or not, but for me ...I am waiting for things to happen and not taking the bull by the horns and getting it done myself. My house and life are disorganized and I am going to fix that!!0 -

I did wonderful at procrastinating yesterday!!! Good grief ......perhaps the desire to match a KOPS walking miles will have to wait a bit....I won't tell her though, she needs encouragement too!! (she averages 7 miles / day....I am already 20 miles behind her this month)
