How to add friends

So feel like a dork. Still trying to figure the friend part out. How do you add friends? I can accept request, but can't seem to add them... Any suggestions?

    Tap user name, tap user name again on pop up which will take you to their profile page and you will see the box to Add As Friend next to the profile picture

    I think you just go to their profile (click on their name) and then hit "Add as Friend" and wait for them to accept the request. If you're already doing that and it's not working then....... I got nothin', lol!

    Thank you, I was getting to the fist page, but not the second. I got it now :)
