High protein (canned) chicken tacos- Really good Lunch share!

Hi guys, so I just discovered, Armour Brand 'Sandwich Creations' -Shredded chicken w/ taco flavoring! I was a bit hesitant about what it would taste like but am having it for lunch now, and it is actually QUITE delicious. It is in the canned meat isle of course and has the following nutrients for 5 oz (cans are 10 oz) serving : Calories 120, protein 20, carbs 7, fiber 4, sugar 1. (those are just the basics of course)
I added some black beans for addition protein, 1 cup of lettuce, some cheese & 2 tablespoons of salsa & you have a quick high protein/lower carb lunch!!

Just wanted to share :) The sandwich creations has other flavors too.

    That sounds good. I will have to try that. I am looking for something portable that I can eat in my car.

    I found a great protein waffle recipe on Damn Delicious' website. You can make them into pancakes. Recipe says it yields 4, but I have gotten as many as 7 out of a recipe:

    6 eggs
    2 cups ricotta (I used 2% fat)
    2 cups old fashioned pats
    Dash salt
    Cinnamon. (I added this -- was not part of the recipe)
    1/2 tsp vanilla

    Blend all the ingredients till smooth - put 1/2 c batter in a waffle iron

    Just brought one for breakfast at work - put it in a toaster and it was fantastic!
