I can assume by your LiteSpeed insignia that you are a cyclist? Me too and this LCHF WOE is proving difficult on my long rides? What do you use in place of sports drinks?

@Working2BLean or @lodro are great sources for the info you're looking for.0 -
I know this is a ha-ha, and I did laugh, but I just want to remind you that if you do legitimately smell like a sewer, something in the digestive system is messed up, generally somewhere between low stomach acid and needing to supplement digestive enzymes. If you have more than the occasional burp or fart, or you are very smelly, either in expelled gas or waste, something you are eating - or how you are eating - isn't agreeing with you! (hugs)1

With the amount of protein shakes that I consume these days, I'd be lucky if they didn't evacuate the building first.1

I remember someone talking about sugar free candies on reddit and malitol in particularly. One user replied 'Never trust a malitol fart'5

A lady I used to work with used the slimming tablets ALLI. Never trust an Alli fart, she had to literally change her pants, and the sight of her is forever etched into my mind. I guess there is a reason why "Alli ups" is such a common term with users.1

I read somewhere that anal leakage is common with Alli...
I'm sure when doing research, they found the leakage side effect and decided to market it as something else.
That's how Viagara came to existence. It was originally researched as heart medication but then they found the side effect and re-marketed it.0 -
I am relieved to note that I am not the only one who thinks fart jokes are hilarious! I still flash on the shtick that Robin Williams did about his colonoscopy... when he was pooting all the way out of the building after it!2

Well, maybe the nice folks at Alli learned something from the Olestra experience. (But maybe the Olestra diet still survives under the radar......)
From a 2004 CSPI article:Today CSPI sent nearly 300 individual reports of olestra-related adverse reactions to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA had already received more than 20,000 such reports—more than for any other food additive in history. Most of the reports involve diarrhea, gas, and cramps. Several of the recent victims sought emergency-room treatment, including a 33-year-old Georgia woman who experienced severe cramping and diarrhea after eating olestra-containing Ruffles chips. Several victims reported embarrassing episodes of fecal incontinence in the workplace; one 19-year-old man became incontinent on a date.
“If you’re going to buy Lay’s Light, Ruffles Light, or Doritos Light, you also might want to stock up on Cottonelle, Quilted Northern, or Charmin—and plan not to stray too far from the bathroom,” CSPI executive director Michael F. Jacobson said. “Frito-Lay should have rebranded these chips as ‘OW!’ chips. This sudden name change is just a desperate attempt to revive a dying brand. Frito-Lay should have just pulled the plug altogether.”

Oh yes, Olestra: the only substance that can make your butt production so greasy and vile that it will leave a film on a bar of soap.2

You mean in Soap v. Olestra, the "food" wins?

Turns out Olestra wasn't food after all; it was (as you knew), an industrial product.
Olestra makes a comebackOlestra may no longer be in your potato chips and crackers, but you may see something close to it on the shelves of your local hardware store. Procter & Gamble, the company that makes olestra (brand name Olean), is now using olestra-like chemicals to make eco-friendly paints and lubricants.

perhaps for another thread: what are the difficulties that you are experiencing? I use nothing in place of sports drinks btw. no need, while on keto (but I had to get fat adapted to reap all the benefits, and I do long distance endurance cycling (really long distances) )0
