I sure hope this board takes off again. When I go to "recent posts" and it's filled with "would you date the person above" and "what sports bra should I wear" I may go nuts.

I'm glad I found this board, thank you to the guys who started it and keep it going.

    I have to agree - love MFP for the results and support, but it does tend to be a bit lopsided in the estrogen department!

    Not surprising. Society (in general) views overweight women as failures and overweight men as normal (obese men not so much). Hence a greater drive for women to manage weight.

    Couple this with the male tendency for action over words, there is little wonder the forums seem to be 90%+ female.

    All that said. It's nice to finally find a group that's male focused.
