Low carb and burning scalp

Has anyone experienced this?
I have been doing well on lo carb limiting myself to less than 50 grs a day. I have done this for a month and already lost 10 lbs. I love this way of eating as I never feel hungry.
However, for the last 8 days I have a burning scalp - my doctor put it down to the number of vitamins I take (Solgar vit B, saw palmetto (for hair loss), multivitamin ever other day and a supplement for arthritis). I stopped taking all vitamins for 4 days now, but burning scalp still comes and go throughout the day. I read that it might be due to low carb.
Please let me know if this is a side effect of low carb?
Thanks

The only thing I could possibly think could make it related would be dry scalp from dehydration/low sodium perhaps. ???0

I recall you (or someone else) mentioning this a few days ago. Good on you for creating a topic.
I have not experienced this but did a quick google search and what seemed to surface frequently was "see a dermatologist who may prescribe a low dose anti-depressant whether one is depressed or not".
Hope you get some good solid responses.0 -
Haven't heard of the scalp burning, but have heard of many who get a rash from eating low carb. Has been attributed to a die off of yeast, and is transient. This is likely what's happening, is just manifesting on the skin of your scalp.
As with any advice, always seek medical help if it doesn't get better soon!1
