Suggestions for a newbie?

Hey guys! As the title says I'm a newbie to this whole thing! I'm 20, about 200 lbs give or take, and I've been a yo-yo, tried everything, fallen off the band wagon dieter for years. Some health concerns have recently come to light, and I searched the Internet in a desperate plea to see if there were any way to assuage my ailments. I fell across Paleo. Two days ago I gave up bread and potatoes, and I'd like to go Paleo tomorrow. If any of you have any advice, especially concerning meal plans/exercise or any tips in general, I'd love to hear. Thanks guys!

    Biggest suggestions I have is plan your meals/food, and give it 30 days at least.

    Okay, thank you! Currently on day four and it is going okay. Still craving junk food though!

    Good for you! The first few days are challenging for sure, because more than just the fact of not eating junk is the PSYCHOLOGY of not eating junk. I'd say at first, don't worry about the quantity of food, so much as the quality. If you're starving and miserable you won't stick to it, so eat when you're hungry, just choose good food. Later, once you're in the habit of making good choices, you can look more at quantity.
