No idea. Typically when a meter is free, they will make more money off the strips...If you pay for the meter, generally the strips are cheaper, so it's a trade off...that's why some folks are willing to give the meters away...0

I am getting my FREE one - I don't have to check my blood sugar but sometimes I like to know where it is at. Now I wish some company would be giving a way a free Ketone checking meter
