Salt- does it work?

Has anyone noticed a big difference getting through first few weeks of Keto by taking salt 1-2 times per day? I just read to add 1/2 tsp to beverages, broth or try soy sauce. Tia!

It helped me a lot. I drank it just when I needed it though. (Felt dizzy when standing up). Salt is an ongoing issue for me (low blood pressure) so I STILL drink ketoade. (Salted water)1

Check out the announcements; there is a thread with a recipe for keto aid using salt and mag. I've not needed it but many many people here will tell you it saves you from the Keto flu...0

I need the salt everyday. It helps when I feel nauseous (which is an on and off issue for me), keeps foot and leg cramps down (along with taking magnesium) and if the plumbing has backed up, I take a full teaspoon of salt. I keep a container with half regular salt and half lite salt (has potassium).1

This is just one recent example of a member making a post stating the difference adding salt made for them.

Yes. I don't think I'll ever not need to supplement sodium. Good thing for me I love salty water.0
