I'm a little unsure about calories and calorie deficits. I want to lose body fat, but some muscle also, any advise?

You are on the right path with your plan. My only advice would be to log your food, read the resources in the Announcement section and reach out if you have any specific questions. You will lose fat and build muscle this way. You will lose fat with your change in diet and build muscle with the strength training but it will be gradual and you will see hills and valleys on the way. Last advice is to not do too much at once with the strength training.0

Doing both, though sliding a little at the moment on keto but still low carb. I have seen tremendous results.
