Not sure if this is a FAIL or a NSV haha

yesterday was my son's birthday party. I got a can of frosting and had to write "Hippy Burfday" on his cake (his request - spelling and everything... whatever. 13 year olds, I don't understand 'em). I did lick some frosting off my finger BUT immediately realized what I did and spit it out (so NSV there!). BUT... later on I did eat maybe 1/10 of one of the huge frosting balloons on his cake topper :confounded::anguished: (the FAIL...also part NSV because I didn't eat all 8 balloons though). Ugh. Back hurts, feel like crap, and of course not producing ketones.

As someone who can eat sweets until they no longer taste good and keep going (wtf dummy?) I think that was excellent restraint.

I'm in the NSV camp too. Control and balance. Plus the best part--experience. Notice what you held onto of the experience. You didn't come back and say "Omg it broke my reslove." You came back and said "Ugh, it made me feel bad." So next time you have that choice you'll be at least a little less likely to go to sugarland.
