As any of you who have "known" me for a while know, I'm a sucker for Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies. Fortunately they're only available once a year. Although I have been told that they are now available at Dollar General all year. But I digress.
Today when I stopped at the grocery store I saw that Pillsbury now has Girl Scout Thin Mint cupcake mix. Complete with chocolate ganache frosting included. I resisted the temptation to buy a box "just to try".
This could be very bad because I know that eventually I will be buying it.

OK Urge v craving. Resist the urge (you did) feed the craving, eventually.
PS Can you make half a batch?0 -
stay out of the cookie section in the store!!
(easy to say not so easy to do)0 -
On the plus side (pardon the pun) you can probably get a discount if you buy a case of the mix.
But you will end up on the plus side.0 -
NOT the same. You can't have GS cookies without having the whole at-the-door interaction.
Steer clear Cindy; you'll be fine.0 -
Dang...sounds deadly.0

Let us know if they are "worth it," Cindy!0

Oh I will! LOL0 -
Not to increase the temptations, but my super market (Stop 'n Shop) has GS Thin Mint ice cream sandwiches.0

My store, Market Basket, has a Thin Mint that, is not 100% same, at least 99%.
Oh, most troops don't allow door to door selling any more.0 -
I've usually been very disappointed when a favorite, such as a cookie, is redone in a different form factor, a cupcake. Part of the appeal of Thin Mints when I used to eat them was the crunch. You aren't going to get the same mouth feel in a cupcake.0

Wonder how many SPs are in a whole sleeve of GSA Thin Mints? I used to polish off a sleeve with no problem back in the day.
I think they are laced with crack! Minty crack of course.

At the door?? Yeah or they blockade your exit from the grocery store too those "evíl" minions all dressed in green or brown. The cookies at best come in sleeves which are obviously the minimum "portion". Haven't seen them yet. Yeah I want the crunch if I eat them too.0

I had actually calculated the points in a sleeve several years ago. As I told someone recently, a sleeve of Thin Mints and a quart of cold milk was a meal. And a single service as far as I was concerned.2 -
Yup sounds like 2 food groups for sure. Me? I skip the milk.0

Stick with the cookies from the scouts, and only buy one box (but enjoy it to the max)!0

Thank God the combination of chocolate and mint makes me want to wretch.0

Sort of like me with peanut butter and chocolate. Definitely makes me want to wretch!0
