Stretches

I will be starting week 5 today but have noticed that my hips are quite sore after my runs. I'm thinking this may be due to the fact that I haven't been doing any stretches while following the program.

Sooo what are good stretches that you have been doing during the runs? Also when is the best time to do them? I was wondering if I should do the warm up walk and then pause it and stretch before the run. Or wait untill the end to stretch? (I guess I could always stretch before and after, lol. Is that necessary?)

    Google stretches for hip flexor, calves, hamstrings, glutes etc

    i never stretch beforehand because i read somewhere that static stretches before the run might do more harm than good.dynamic stretches are better for before, and static for after. maybe you should also extend your warm up time to 10 minutes if you feel that 5' is not enough.
