Fad Adapted. When/How To Know

Not sure how many others have wondered this. How and when does a person know when they are fat adapted? A lot of posters throw that phrase around like it just happens. Like, I think of a woman giving birth. I know the how and when. In plain sight actually. A person gets a haircut. I know the how and when. In plain sight also. Or sex, I know the how and when. In plain sight and touch lol. But fat adapted? Its on the inside. Can't be seen.
So how do I know when it happens.
So how do I know when it happens.

Here's an explanation from Mark Sisson

I was wondering the same thing. I can go a lot longer than I could before without getting hangry. That's a big improvement.0

Read Mark's article for sure.
I can tell when my body is burning fat.....I can go long periods of time without even thinking about food. If I slip up and have too many carbs, my body goes back to demanding food all the time. I can usually go back into burning fat rather quickly if I don't slip up too hard. Takes a few days of eating Keto to get me feeling this way.

I used to get hangry on a regular basis. Dizzy, foggy, shaky, nauseous, irritable... I used to eat when I wasn't hungry and I ate far too much. I used to think about food often. I can now go several hours between meals and hunger feels different, much less intense.2

This is what makes it challenging, imho. What you described was the difference between sabine pre SLOW carb and sabine POST slow carb. it's hard to really say whats fat adapted and whats blood sugar control sometimes...2 -
