    October Goal- 3.5 miles/day or 105.5 miles/month

    10/1 -WAH-Walk Slim- 4 Fast Miles= 4 miles total :smile:
    10/1-Vivofit tracked-1.1 miles=5.1 total miles
    10/2-WAH-WAlk Slim-4 Fast Miles=9.1 total miles
    10/2-Vivofit tracked 1.5 miles=10.6 total miles
    10/3-Endomondo tracked neighborhood walk 4.3 miles-14.9 total miles
    10/3-Vivofit tracked-1.7 miles=16.6 total miles
    10/4-Endomondo tracked neighborhood walk-4.3 miles=20.9 total miles
    10/4-Vivofit tracked 4.1 miles=25.2 total miles
    10/5-Endomondo tracked neighborhood walk-3.4 miles=28.6 total miles
    10/5-Vivofit tracked 3.0 miles=31.6 total miles
    10/6-Vivofit tracked 4.3 miles=35.9 total miles
    10/7-Vivofit tracked 1.6 miles=37.5 total miles

    The "4-Mile Run/Walk for Wine" race was interesting! There were actual stops along the route for wine tasting! I love wine, but I do not think of it as my "workout drink!" :laugh: There were some very slow walkers toward the end of the "race." :wink:

    I am thinking of doing the "5 K Walk for Chocolate" in November, but it will probably be too cold by then and hopefully, we may have some of LilyMay's blowing & drifting snow - if she is willing to share it! :wink:

    10/6--- Walk Off Fat Fast 40 minutes, not sure how 2 tally miles on this one. I'll say 2, = Total 13

    10/8--- 4 Mile super Challenge 4.....total 19

    I don't think the 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk is on youtube anymore. It's from 2007. I bet you can find Tread & Shred on Jessica Smith's website- jessicalsmithTV.com :)

    LOL, There were some very slow walkers toward the end of the "race." Slow, but not steady, I bet. Now that Walk for Chocolate certainly has lot's of appeal. I hope it isn't cancelled due to snow.

    - 15 days over 10,000 steps
    - Control, control, control!!!

    Total Week 1 - 26.51 miles and 2 days over 10,000 steps.

    Oct 9 - 3.12 miles and lots of company, even managed to control my eating!!

    Thanksgiving dinner a day early, really great to see all my grandkids, they don't live that far away, but don't always get to be here together. Only one strangler left this morning, one grandson thought he needed to stay. We will go outside today and make a snowman and he said also a snow angel. :)

    Oct 11 - 1.38 miles ..... too cold to take the grandkids outside

    Today, off to the city - DH has a 4 hour procedure at the hospital so I will get my steps in.

    Lol... They seem like the perfect catalyst to me. Maybe it's the kind of wine and chocolate. Don't give up, there are so many wines to choose from and several varieties of chocolate to try. ;)

    Oct 9 - 3.12 miles and lots of company, even managed to control my eating!!
    Oct 10 - 4.76 miles - 10476 steps (3/10)

    Oct 13 - 2.43 miles
    Oct 14 - 2.33 miles

    I seem to have stalled!!! Didn't get my parking lot walk in when I was in the city, had my grandkids more days than expected and ......oh excuses!!! At least I can't over eat when the kids are here because then they want snacks and then they won't eat at meal times....

    Today I will have to go out and dig through the 6 - 8 inches of heavy wet snow and find some of my smaller plant pots and get the put away... oh what a mess!! some of them should have been buried in sawdust to protect the plants for next year!!
