Insulin resistance and Alzheimer's?

Here's an article I found from psychology today. It talks about insulin resistance and how it can not only lead to diabetes type 2 (body diabetes) but also lead to Alzheimer's which they consider a type 3 diabetes or a "brain diabetes" What do you all think?

That's an interesting article. Thanks for the link.

Of course, it's possible to have insulin resistance and high blood glucose (Type 2 diabetes) but not have cognitive fallout. But the figures are arresting enough to scare this old dog!
