Hello All!
I am off to visit my parents for a little vacation. Looking forward to it in some days, but it will be a challenge to eat right, as my parents like to eat out a lot. I have my snacks ready for my luggage, so it won't be a big deal, but I hate being out of my routine.
Enjoy your week!

Yes I did, but of course, I wasn't cooking my own food, so ate things that weren't the best for my system. One of the good things about coming home from vacation is being in control of cooking. I tortured myself with bread...literally.....it really aggravates my stomach when I eat it....granted it's a reminder to not eat it! LOL

that sucks bread affecting your stomach :( I don't have problems with bread, although if I'm tracking calories, I eat less of it because I'd rather "spend" my carb allowance on more interesting things than bread.

It's a blessing and a curse.....since it's so high in sugars it's good to stay away...I notice it's highly addictive though. I miss pizza, but I will eat it maybe a couple times a year and pay the consequences later. I use things like coconut flour and almond meal to make some bakery items I love....my favorite recipe is no flour brownies....you can find the recipe in my blog from months ago. I like it better than the "normal" brownies and they have a lot of healthy fat.
