Well this was party week at the bank. We celebrated our 100th anniversary and there was food non stop for customers and the lunches and a dinner party for the employees. I did really well I am tired as I am not accustomed to going out and socializing I am use to coming home putting on my pj's and just chilling and going to bed early. Whereas I was at the country club and unable to say OK I'm usually in bed by now. Well until another lady said I hate to be a party pooper but I'm usually in bed by now and I laughed and said me too. So we said our good byes and left and a lot of people started to leave knowing friday is our long day.
Yesterday I ate crappy I just didn't feel like anything but chips and chocolate so that's what I ate. I stayed in my calories but granted as I had nothing of nutritional value I felt like crap.
Today I am making an effort to eat and exercise. I already exercised and my husband actually turned on the furnace. I am stunned but he said now that I have a full time job I can't be getting sick. WOW I didn't have the so called full time at my other job but I worked the hours just didn't have the perks or benefits. Now that my job is titled full time suddenly he's a totally different person. If only I had known I needed a title. LOL Actually I think it has a lot to do with everything. I now dress like a lady and he knows I'm happy at the new job. I think he realizes I went for this position just in case something happens down the road I will be able to take care of everything.
I'm still not into a set routine of where I can get in any extra exercise in. I keep thinking Ok give me one more week and I will have this down pat and then I can add something in. NOPE my old job was physically challenging this one is mentally challenging and it's crazy but the brain drain is more taxing than the physical stuff. So I am just going to say ok when it happens it happens I'm not going to dwell on the fact I didn't get extra in. I'm still exercising before I go to work and I'm watching everything I put in my mouth.
Well I hope everyone is doing well I need to get done some house chores and then run over to my folks and assist on a project. Have a great week!!!

Exactly. This past week, I just focused on getting through the week and was trying to get back to normal (whatever that is). The good news was that, even though I didn't log or even check in with MFP all week, I was only up 0.2 pounds. I'll take it. I did get a ton a things done that needed doing and I did get back into a better routine.
This week my goals are:
1. Sleep 7-8 hours each night
2. Eat "whole/real" foods
3. Exercise 5 of 7 days (doing something)
4. Finish entering all of our personal financial info into Quicken (Should finish today and don't ever want to get behind again)
5. Super clean and reorganize the bedroom (turn mattress, put Fall comforter/bedding on bed and put up matching curtains, pull out the fall/winter clothing)0 -
I don't know why I can't seem to get myself to log consistently again. Goal for this week, along with keeping up with the workouts. Oh, and file my taxes, since I got a 6 month extension, yay. (Heh. I do this every year and plan to definitely get them done by May and somehow October comes and I haven't looked at them since April and deciding to get the extension.)1

I usually weigh on Fridays, and had a gain of 0.5 pounds. I know there were a few too many potatoes in there! I did a quick weigh this morning, and I'm back on track, but gonna put the gain in the spreadsheet to "keep it real!"
This week's goals:
Drop off Goodwill items (they made it out to my car!)
Drink at least 6 glasses of water. I haven't hit 10 in a while so setting a more realistic goal.
Get more steps in! If I don't get more consistent, I'm gonna have to reset myself to Lightly Active. Not sure how that will affect my available calories...
Rake/mow the yard. Hope this might be the last time I need to mow for the season!

How has everyone's week been going? I dropped off my Goodwill stuff. I'm still struggling with getting enough water, but have linked it with morning coffee drinking. If I start the day with water, I drink so much more during the day. Today is the first afternoon/evening I don't have work or school events, but it's cold and rainy, so Yeah! No yard work!
I reset my activity to Sedentary, and the weight loss goal to 0.5 pounds a week. MFP actually gave me 30 more calories per day! Leaving it at 1 pound per week was only 1250 calories, and I felt that was too low.0 -
Heh, got my taxes done. Otherwise not a great exercise week since I've been struggling with my tendon issue and PT -- no big deal, but it's messed up my marathon training as I can't run long again yet (pretty sure I'm going to drop down to the half, as I confirmed I can), and as always I struggle to make myself swim when it gets cold out, even though that's great for my tendon. Also, I quit logging and was doing some stress eating off and on.
Another stressful week coming up, but I am going to try to stay on track better.
My cutting down on caffeine is going well, at least.0
