I'm trying to follow a low carb, medium protein, high fat diet. I've lost close to 9lbs in two weeks. I'm told you don't need to count ANYTHING but carbs and to be sure your protein is always lower than your fat grams. I think it would be helpful if everyone posted what they are attempting and success and struggles as well. Let's encourage each other.

I havent actually sat down and figured out my ratios. I do log my food. I started keto on October 10. My biggest problem is sugar! I am addicted to it. I got down to 128 lbs (from 192) but since Oct. 2015 til now I have been slowly gaining. I was up to 142 - 143. I cldnt stop sugar. I am now down to 133-135. The scale didnt move down for a year so this feels good. But I still crave sugar. I always looked forward to getting home from work and just eating sugar and watching tv. Now the sugar is gone but my head keeps telling me to have a cheat day but I kno if I eat it, I wont stop and I dont wanna throw away all the work I put in!0

Try eating more fat. It helps with the cravings. My carb count I'm trying to keep under 20. But some foods can still trigger cravings. For me anyway0
