I didn't favorite this post and I'm way too lazy to go back and dig it out. But a while back I posted and asked if anyone had tried these foods because I was thinking of trying some. Well we did try them. I bought the sampler pack.

We've tried everything except the noodles thus far.
  • Almond Square - Awful. Sort of slimy and dry on the inside. No flavor.
  • Vanilla Muffin - tasty. I enjoyed it and would eat it again.
  • Brownie - dark flavor, not overly sweet. Has that grainy texture you'd expect. I ordered more.
  • Chocolate glazed cookie - really liked that and ordered more. Just enough chocolate, not overly sweet.
  • Vanilla cookie - a little bland. Did not reorder.
  • Loaf of plain bread - Toasted - ripped the inside of my mouth up. Not toasted - a little chewy. Put in the Panini maker - YUM. It makes a great grilled cheese, panini, etc. I like it.

Anyway, I ordered 2 of some of the other things like the cookie with lemon on it so Anna and I could try them. I also ordered some of the bread crumbs and rye bread.

I know that some of the ingredients may not be for everyone, but for us, this stuff is hitting the spot as right now we just want to be low carb. I can't worry about things like high fiber and artificial sweeteners at this point. One day; but one step at a time for us.

@RowdysLady - it's great to find compliant foods that help you stick with your plan.

Compliance is the only way to win long term - and if we have to bend a bit to do that, I call that a win. :)

Interesting find! I wish they had customer reviews on each product page. I'll check their instagram # to see what others are saying about it

Anna made a Cuban with the bread last night. Wow....pickles, pork, mustard, and for added flair pepperoni. It was delicious!

Thanks @KnitOrMiss sometimes It's hard not to feel like we are doing poorly when we hear how others don't eat some things because they are bad for us. Yet we eat them with abandon. You made me smile.

@RowdysLady , If I decided to not eat everything I had read something negative about over the years, I'd be dead from starvation. That includes water. Tap water and bottled "purified" water so I guess death from dehydration might get me 1st. <3

I don't do instagram so I'll be curious as to your findings. I will tell you that I cannot stress enough the BEST way to eat the bread is panini style or grilled. Way too dry toasted plain and a little chewy not crisped up. I use my Foreman grill as a panini press and it works great. I'm still thinking about the bites of Anna's sandwich I had last night...but I'm out of the bread and waiting for more to come.
