Truvia and NET Carbs

So I use Truvia almost exclusively for sweetening (yes I've tried all the stevias, no I can't tolerate them), and I usually count each packet as three carbs, even tho they say they are nondigestible carbs and the packet has zero calories. So my carb counts (I only delete fiber) which I try to keep under 35 a day have been high. Granted I've been drinking a lot of coffee lately. Like yesterday, my net carbs (total carb minus fiber) was 45. However, I used five pkts of Truvia so 15 of those were Truvia carbs!
In the past I've not deleting anything but fiber cause I wanted to discourage myself from using fake sweeteners. However, now it's just discouraging me as I never hit my carb goal. So here's my question:
I'm going to start using the food entry that counts them as 0 carbs instead of 3 carbs. Is there anything I'm forgetting here or need to be aware of?
I'm in a coffee binge mode - I go through these at change of seasons. I'll drink it all day and other times not for weeks. I'm going to have my coffee but I'm trying to save my sanity too. I "think" they are safe to delete?

Have you had any weight gain or blood sugar issues? If not then I'd say it's safe to count it as zero!1

I'm not counting the carbs in the sugar free gum I chew (2 carbs, 2 sugar alcohols), because it keeps me from wanting a carby snack on my long drive home. If I experience a stall though, that will be an area I reassess.0

I agree.
I use Truvia. And I never count erythritol in my carb count. Don't count gum either. It keeps food out of my mouth that doesn't belong. That said, I'm higher carb than a lot of folks, so there's that caveat.
If I ate other sugar alcohols, like sorbitol or maltitol, I'd count at least half of them.

When I use sweetener I too use Truvia and I don't count it. So far it doesn't seem to affect me. Like @Cadori, when I chew sugar free gum I count that as a win because I didn't eat a Hershey bar and don't count those carbs either. I am not a diabetic though and don't seem to be affected by sugar alcohols. I subtract all my sugar alcohols.0

No weight gain and it doesn't seem to affect my blood sugar or craving levels at all.1

Then I wouldn't count them at all. I use Truvia in my morning coffee and have had no affects from it so I don't count it either. I stay away from the other sugar alcohols because I have negative effects from them (think sugar-free gummies here).3 -
If they are non-digestible carbs then yea go for the entry that lists it as 0 carb. I do the same with sugar alcohols, I choose the entries that say "minus sugar alcohols".0
