So i just wanted to introduce myself to the group. My name is Julianna, i am 33 and i am at the heaviest i have ever been. I would like to try and lose 10% of my weight by new years, and in order to do that i will really have to get my but in gear with both the diet and the fitness portion of my life. Some other facts about myself is that i work at a University so i sit most of the day, I have season tickets to our local echl hockey team, i love to read, and i live by myself:)

Hi! Thanks for the intro and congrats on committing to getting healthier. This is the first week so we've been identifying our temptations/weaknesses and devising plans to avoid or replace them. Always celebrating every success. Every day is a new opportunity to make healthy choices. We can do this!0

I need to work on getting back into working out, and also making sure that i have healthy snacks available so i don't just go to junk food.0

Ease into it. make it a priority but the key is to do things you actually enjoy so you stick with it for the long term. Healthy lifestyle changes. Like a brisk walk at lunch time. Walk around the block after dinner. Take a Zumba class if that's your thing. The goal being to become a healthy active person so we don't have to do this "weight loss challenge" again. We'll just be naturally healthy. : ) People will say "it's easy for you" LOL0
