I knew it was going to happen to me. I forgot to update the spreadsheet before it was taken down for Sunday with exercise minutes which were only 18 but still and I didn't add that I completed the water challenge.

    Oh well happy week 2.

Oh man really thought we were doing a nutrition challenge involving garlic and I got so excited because I cook worth copious amounts of it! Is okay these videos are going to be a blast.

770 steps....does anyone remember how many the last challenge was? That one was challenging but I did it - I think I told you guys about how I was on my honeymoon and our room was a loft so I went up and down the stairs a few times whenever I had to go up at all. I'll have to make the same rule for my house to get these done!

Okay I just checked and the last challenge was 860...surely we can do just 770! We've got this team three!

For the new people: some people kept track of stairs in the notes section of MFP, some kept a pad and pen at the top of the staircase in their house, some people used the stair master at the gym, some people went to a park or other public place with stairs (I'm thinking at least every town has some bleachers somewhere.) If you don't have any stairs, find something you can safely step onto and off of and you can count those (although I'm sure that would be tedious).

I love the "no late night snacking" challenge.....I NEED THIS ONE.

I am going to do the dancing videos now. The stair challenge will be a tough one for me, but I will leave my office and go around campus to all the buildings with stairs this week.....should be fun. :) Maybe I can get some of my colleagues to join me.

    Have a great Monday, everyone.

Wow! @hawkins410 and @MissionEnforcer - I am loving the information you are providing on the destinations! Thank you so much for the time and effort you are putting into creating this fabulous race for us!! You both rock!!

Team 3 - this looks like such a fun week!! "let's do the time warp agaaaiinnn...!!!" LOL! So fun!!

Unfortunately I didn't finish the water challenge. I know...so bad!! I am all over the challenges this week, tho! Snacking at night is my struggle, so this is perfect for me. It will definitely help with breaking a bad habit!

And, no I did not see the guy on the couch! But I am going to look for him! That is too funny!

So.....I just finished the dancing challenge (very fun...monster mash was my favorite). And, I watched the Romanian videos while doing stairs. I was worried about the stair challenge, but I have a treadmill. And, to get on my treadmill is a tall step. So, I just used this to step onto (I did not count the coming down part). I stepped onto my treadmill 300 times (I was sweating afterwards.....what a great leg workout and cardio).

34 minutes dance + 10 minutes of stairs + 10 bonus minutes for being active during Romanian videos. I added the bonus points to today's workout.

I like dedicating my Monday mornings to the workouts from this challenge.....it has been great.

    Now....need to get ready for work.....have a wonderful day - Team 3.

I'm looking forward to the step challenge. I work on the 3rd floor in an office complex and typically walk down and up the stairs when I take a bathroom break. I'll be doing this a lot this week!

So where we you in 1975? I was 10 years old and living in Etobicoke, Ontario (suburb of Toronto) and having a blast. Those days we played outside ALL the time, could eat everything in sight and still be super skinny :) The good old days! Halloween time was extra fun because we got to collect pillow case sacks of candy :)

Thank you for clearing that @BJerzy

Not a good day, just 12 minutes logged and 65 stairs....will try and make it up tmrw. On the plus side, I never do late night snacks, so that's a easy 5 points. Will try and complete the dancing tmrw to get a move on this week. Go Team Three!

Guys! We bought some fun candy over the weekend at It's Sugar - just a few things I haven't had in years like Sprees and Now-and-Laters...I really wanted one just now but that would be a late night snack so I said no!! Woohoo go me :)

I'm just under 200 steps for the day so I think I've got a pretty good start! I'm going to start the videos tomorrow and I'm really excited for them. Love Thriller, Monster Mash, and Time Warp!

@samra338 just start again tomorrow! We all have bad days now and then.
@smile_laughter I love that you start the challenges first thing Monday morning. It's so motivating to see that :) How did not snacking go for you this evening?

I was not born yet in 1975...sorry friends

Hey team!! Completed the dancing videos for challenge one and loved them! Now I really need to focus on the steps challenge. Hopefully I can get that done over the next couple of days.

For the third challenge, I plan to stop eating/snacking after 9. Day 1 on that has been good so far!!

& you are not alone @BJerzy ! I was also not born yet either

Hope everyone has a very active week

@BJerzy - snacking is going ok, so far. I haven't had anything since 5:30pm (I had a huge dinner, so that probably helped). I am wanting popcorn or chips so bad right now, but I won't do it.......this is a challenge that I need to conquer! :)

    1975 - this was the year I was born....so I was 0 years old. :D

I think I got the no snacking down (asleep by nine last night-> however daughter woke at two am with coughing fit :s

Today is supposed to be a work day. Usually no workout per se but up this early might cram something in there.

Got a lot of stairs in there yesterday, ran the laundry loads up and down the flights of stairs more than necessary yesterday to add some extra in there.

I also was not yet born in 1975...

Morning all. I pretty much am starting this week's challenge today. I totally didn't feel like exercising yesterday I guess I had a case of the Mondays. Here's to a new week starting today...

I was only 3 years old in 1975.

Morning. 1 day down for the no snack challenge. I went to a "paint nite" last night so was too busy painting to eat! Slept in this morning and missed my workout. :# Will start the dancing today and workout after work. I promise. ;)

    I was 7 years old in 1975.

Good morning! Yesterday was a good day, got in 2 hours of exercise between my walk at noon, my walk before dinner and physical therapy (I'm counting that as exercise since I get to learn new exercises :) ) I also watched the travel videos, so I need to still add in my 10 bonus miles/points and no snacking after supper albeit we ate a very late supper; 7:30 last night! I'm hoping tonight or tomorrow night to get the 5 monster video's done.

    ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS:

The 10 Points for CHALLENGE #1 IS FOR DOING THE 5 DANCE VIDEOS 2x EACH.
Not for watching the 2 Romanian videos (which you may count as 10 minutes of exercise,
    if active while you watch).

@summ72, I had a case of the "Mondays" as well. Didn't help that I slept like crap the night before! I even snacked before bed last night, which I hadn't done in a week! Okay, so no evening snacking starts tonight! I live in a two story house with laundry in the basement, so the stairs will be no problem. I have a note pad at the top of each flight and mark down each time I go up. I know I even forget lots of times, but I will still make it no problem! Haven't done the videos yet...maybe this afternoon. Tonight is my Learn to Run clinic, so I will get my exercise in.

In 1975 I was 9 years old and in grade 4. For all of you not born yet...thanks for making me feel old!!

Lol...another one here who was not around in 1975!

Got in a long upper body strength workout this morning and some yoga this evening to log 93 miles.

I have been counting only intentional exercise minutes so far. But, I have some major meal prep and household work starting from tmrw, so depending on how I feel and how strenuous it was, I might count a portion of it. What do you guys think?

    @HASWLRS I'm sorry that's why I didn't want to say it! Haha

@samra338 if I break a sweat (like a real sweat, not hot sun through the window while washing dishes in hot water sweat - because that happens often haha) while cleaning my house I count it. It often includes bending and reaching and lifting and stairs and all sorts of things so I'll count that. When I was moving into this new place I included a lot of those minutes.

    @HASWLRS

OK much better today I have over 150 steps in so far. I worked out this morning and walked at lunch but I think I ate my arm off today. Not sure why I ate so much. I am not a night time eater so that challenge will be easy for me.

    Hi everyone!!

@samra338 --Like Bjerzy, I also only count activity that is beyond a typical day and breaks a sweat.

@summ72 ==Great job on the steps so far. My office and classroom are on the 2nd floor at work, but mailroom, testing center, and my resource duty are all on the 1st floor, so I go up and down at least 3 times a day. I went up 5 times yesterday and 3 times today, but I need to count the actual stairs and do the math. LOL

@enuf200 -- I've done a few of those parties; they're fun! What did you paint?

@carlsoda --I've done PT and would definitely count it as exercise minutes. Great job getting in 2 hours yesterday.

I turned 6 in 1975, but didn't see Rocky Horror until many years later. They used to play it every Saturday as the midnight show at a little BYOB theater near Loyola in Chicago where I went to college, so I've Time Warped many a time. Looking forward to that and all of the dancing videos. Will do one set tomorrow night to get started.

As I mentioned above to summ, I have stairs at the HS that I am up and down many times per day, so I will get that challenge done for sure as well.

Snacking challenge is a little harder b/c I tend to eat most of my calories in the evening, but I will make sure to have my snack within 2 hours of dinner to play by the rules. :) So far 2 for 2 on that one.

Good Morning all, came down sick (have had two sick kiddos for that last two days...) not sure what i am going to be up to today, have completed half the stairs, and was going to do the dancing videos today with the kids. Maybe.
I dont like being so far behind in the race :( can't believe we are the only ones to not be there yet! will see if i am up to anything today

@Cheriels82 We have six people who haven't put any time on the sheet for this week, so I'm guessing we probably are there - or will be when everyone updates.

I did half the videos yesterday and will do the other half Thursday. I'm more than half way through the stairs (my classroom is upstairs and I live in a two story house with basement laundry) and I'm 2/2 for snacking, mostly because I tend to eat dinner pretty late. I'm running again which is awesome, but that also means my minutes may drop or plateau because I can only run for so long and can't do much after the run other than stretch. I need to be protecting my knee at all times. I just feel bad when I'm working out really hard, but the minutes don't always show here.

It looks like everyone is doing well so far! I got in my morning workout this morning. Went once through the dance videos yesterday and a walk. Will finish the dance videos today. I love dancing!! I am doing ok with the stairs..on track to finish!

I snacked last night. It's a mindless habit. I got home late, went straight to the pantry and just grabbed a scone. I didn't even think about it till I had eaten half of it. Need to break that, and be a whole lot more mindful. So, still at 1/5 for that challenge.

@Cheriels82 - hope you feel better!
