Good Morning Everyone!!! :)

Well I would love to say hey I am getting the hang of things but this past week I pretty much psyched myself out a few times and had to take a lot of deep breaths. I keep having to remind myself that my old job I knew so well I did it on autopilot. when You do something for 24 years that happens and I just need to give myself time to get to know everything and there are things that you literally only do once a month and as it's coming back yes I'm going to be saying Hmmm.... am I doing this right? I just need to have faith in myself and keep doing as I'm doing if I have a question ask it and just keep plugging along.

So I already exercised this morning and I did good this week there was only one day that I didn't. I think I am going to give things a push and try and add some extra exercise this week. Not sure what but I will try.

My new workplace is a place that likes to share food this past week was a bagel tray and a sheet cake. I did well as I really didn't want to have a stomach ache. Plus I look around and think this is why a lot of these women have such a large tuckus. they eat large snacks and we have a sedentary job. I also noticed the guys watch their calorie intake more than the women.

I'll try and pop in mid week and let you guys know if i actually add in extra exercise LOL
Have a great week!!

My boss likes to bring in candy and our dog walker brings in baked goods. I have been very good at avoiding all. Although, I did slip a couple times and ate half a cookie, couple days in a row. Fortunately, I do a lot of walking at my job, on my feet pretty much all day. Unfortunately, I seem to be staying steady and not losing much, if any. Blah.

I will probably not be on here this week. Be backsoon a I can. Have a great week! Stay strong @2020pinktogo

I'm much less likely to snack now that I have to take insulin with my food. By the time I look up the carbs, and decide how much insulin I would need to cover it, I usually decide it's not worth it!

Oh, I forgot to post this week's goals:
    1. Drink 8 glasses of water.
    2. Exercise 3 times, not just walking the dogs.
    3. Make a breakfast something so I don't end up scrambling eggs in the M/W every day!
    4. Try spaghetti squash!

I was surprised to see that I had a 1 lb loss this week. Most likely due to stress. Had that hurricane to deal with and then also had a death in the family. When posting on spreadsheet I noticed that I'm not that far from reaching my Halloween goal! So I'm going to push myself to reach it. If I do, this will be the first holiday challenge group this year that I'll meet my goal.

My goal for this week is to get things in order. They say that your surroundings are telling about your life. Messy = disarray/chaos So, I want to get things in order at home as well as at work. My office looks like a storage closet. lol

How's everyone doing? It's been a crazy week here, more "senior year" stuff, and trying to replace the car my son smashed.

I made a spinach, mushroom and swiss breakfast casserole this week. Made my mornings much simpler! Missing my green olives a little, may have to come up with a veggie blend to complement them. Still have an uncooked spaghetti squash on my counter!

I've got 1.4 lbs to go to meet my Halloween goal and 9 days to do it in. I WILL meet my goal because if I do this will be the first holiday challenge that I've actually met goal.

Super stressful week (and weekend) at work, and I basically let everything else slide and fell into old, bad comfort eating patterns. Going to be really trying to figure out what has been going on with me and food this week, and also making a decision whether I can attempt the marathon I'm signed up for despite my training issues (caused by a tendon problem) or should drop down to the half. I think probably the latter, but I'll do the marathon plan for the week and see how much I've lost with my skipped long runs, and make the call. (Luckily they do let you drop down, no problem.)

Cubs are in the World Series, so, well, that's weird. ;-)
