I sweat a LOT when exercising so I want to continue the Ketoade even though I'm 38 days in. I salt food liberally as well.. but should I cut the potassium salt and just use regular salt now? I drink a total of 1/2 tsp of both salt and potassium salt respectively daily. Don't want to give up the salt in case my headaches come back!

You could cut the potassium in half and see how you do. Some people can cut their sodium a little, but still need to keep it in the 3000-5000 range. But the exact # is going to have to be a YMMV.

Low-carbers who produce ketones regularly will always have an higher need for electrolytes than the average non-LCer. It's in the biology.

I have no need to cut the potassium, just wondering if I should because I had read that my potassium level should be five as long as my sodium intake is adequate. I don't mind the taste of the drink at all with both additives so I may as well keep it!

I was just saying that you COULD cut it and see, since adequate sodium preserves potassium right? We don't want to get too much or too little. Goldilocks zone. But there are a few out there that either get less than most in their diet, or they need more than others. I dropped mine and was fine, but some people actually do need more than me. And the only way to find that out is to experiment with decreasing. I know I get a fair amount of potassium through food. I tried a tracker that actually tracks micronutrients better and found I get plenty. So I decreased some NuSalt and everything was still good.
