How do you use your carbs?

I've now been LCHF for 3 weeks and I'm curious how the rest of you use your less than 50grams of carbs. I just use mine for the incidental few carbs in soups or dressings or sauces.

I like to get in some vegetables most days so that is part of the 20 (sometimes net). The rest are cheese, HWC and misc stuff like pepperoni...and that darn occasional peanut butter.1

Up to 5 for dairy - double cream and cheese, 5-10 for salad dressing, gluten free soy sauce and other seasonings/flavourings and the rest for veggies. I do sometimes have a Quest bar when I'm travelling, but if I'm home, I stick with real food.1

Dark leafy greens; occassional bits of tomato, onion, peppers, and garlic; avocado, 15-30g nut butter here and there, and a wee bit in my dairy intake (30ml HWC, around 50-60g cheese daily). Im at 20g net carbs.3

Veggies, dairy and nuts I try to stay sub 20 net, but some days go as high as 30 net.1

Veggies mostly, and whatever might be in dairy or dressings.0
-
Veggies, nuts, and dairy mostly, I'm at 20 net carbs, but usually only get about 15.2

Until I fell off the wagon most of mine were in salad and the incidental ones in cheeses and some processed meats. On occasion it was in something like a carbquik biscuit. Trying to head back to that state.2

I'm onto my third week and am really sticking to comfort foods to get me through right now
1. Sunflower seed butter.
2. Stevia Plus sweetener
3. Heavy cream
4. Cacao
5. Healthy stuff like lemon juice and sesame seeds.2 -
Veggies and nuts are mainly it.1

Mainly veggies and nuts. Glutenfree soy sauce, some dairy. Sometimes berries.0

Nuts, nut butters, sugar-free catsup.0
-
Veggies and dairys. When I've done really well and have a good amount left over I indulge in berries and heavy cream.0
-
corn tortillas or veggies. I love hwc with my tea and coffee too but if I go over it's due to corn tortillas lol0
-
Veggies, nuts, cream, fat bombs, quest bars, pancakes, biscuits, and occasionally berries on weekends. I like strawberry pancakes.0
-
Mostly nuts, dairy, and veggies for my carbs here.0

Primarily lower carb veggies, full fat dairy, and lower carb nuts. I learned the hard way that I need to stay away from higher carb nuts - e.g., cashews - 1 ounce is just a tease!

green leafy veggies, heavy whipping cream and occasional cheese.0

Green veggies, raspberries, nuts, dairy, and the occasional low carb tortilla. I try to stay within 50-60 total carbs, so the net is lower. I hope to work my way up to 100 g/per day for maintenance. I have 16 lbs. more to go, so far adding back carbs via the rungs on the Atkins plan has worked for me, losing slightly less, but not interested in being totally keto. So far this way of eating has been super easy for me.2

Dairy, nuts & nut butters, a huge variety of vegetables, dark chocolate (85%) and a serving of frozen strawberries a day.1
-
Dairy and vegetables -- I attempt to stay under 20g total carbs but I do let that side if I am really wanting more veggies.0
-
veggies, beans, nuts, dairy - sometimes rice or potato or fruit0
-
Mostly salad, sometimes the occasional fruit, nuts, some cheeses, rye crisps0
-
Avocado, tomato, HWC. I'm at 20g or under and feel very energetic. If I go much higher, I tend to feel sluggish and less focused.0
-
mostly veggies and cheese, nuts every once in awhile. I keep it to <30 net carbs daily.0

In order of priority:
1. Dark chocolate
2. Wine
3. Veggies
4. Nuts
5. Dairy
Don't get me wrong, I love dairy but I try not to consume stuff that is more than 1g per serving. But I will budget carbs for chocolate and wine.6 -
