Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

As I understand it, these days both men and women are 'dressing up" their exercise clothing. Here is a blast from the past. I doubt you can find these accessories anymore.

"... dressing up for exercise..." yeah, that will get me on a tangent. These days I been wearing street clothes but I got plenty spandex. On a practical side, some of my spandex has extra padding built into it. If you saw my bicycle saddle you'd get it. I don't think I ever have to worry about anyone stealing my bicycle. Nobody even really wants to try it out or borrow it.
Sometimes I wear my spandex under my street clothes. But hey, I been thinking lately about a skinsuit. Yeah maybe if I go down another ten pounds. People will be all like look, there goes granpa in a skinsuit.

But I am going to say
    yes
    yes
    yes
Even though I haven't had lunch yet. I know, the budget and tracking will be yesses for yesterday and exercise will be for today.
At daybreak I went climbing for for like 1,900 feet, 12 miles 2 hours. MFP is giving me 1000 or so cals.
I think that is a low ball but I will abide.
It was cold. Wunderground said it would be 38. But it was 32 on the dashboard. Ugh, but you warm up climbing. ... and there are warm places. Sometimes a waft of warm air will hit you and the higher you get the more into the sun you go. You get to the overlook and the sun shines there. Oh yeah, I climb up from a canyon.
I wasn't climbing too hard but I did get a HR of 155. That's like 99% but I think I spent most time in "meander" climb. Sun would come out and I would stop sometimes. My max HR must have been right by going by the cave parking lot. My knee was on edge. I didn't go crazy. I might have overamped Mr. Knee yesterday.
Descending. Cold. You go back into the tunnel. The bottom of that canyon in the summertime is just like a deciduous tunnel. Man o man. I am obsessed with that road. In the summer it is ten degrees cooler than anywhere.
But that formerly deciduous tunnel is cold when the sun don't shine in it anymore.
I almost thought about going back to spin class. Maybe if the road gets icy I will. But then again there is always a lower road.
Lower road, my flat track, that is all right. I think it might have 800 feet of contour in it. There were a bunch of trail runners on it today. Makes me want to race. Ahhh, wait a minute I am too old.
Ohh! Movie trucks! They are making a movie out by my climbing track! Pretty weird. I didn't talk to anybody so I don't know what show it is. But tell me, if it was you seeing that, wouldn't your first fantasy be, ahhh, I wonder if they need any extras?
I wonder if they need a crazy old guy on a bicycle to be going by behind that background of buffalo.
    Anyway,
I got 11,660 feet of climb for this month. I was going to try for 26,000. My wife wants to go skiing for 3 day. Ugh, more fun. Fun is keeping me from exercising. Wait a minute...

But if I am going to pull it off I need 14,000 in 14 days. Probably won't happen.

Plenty of spandex, coolmax, drifit here....

    Three soccer games today. Will
Miss one due to overlap and one is only an indoor game so planning was easier. Will be successful.

On another note, most of my family is in New Zealand. Earthquakes and tsunamis right now. They are in zone, but not epicenter. Have had no communication with them (tried every way we have). Should be ok, but will feel so much better when we make contact. Has been 7 hours of this.

Today I cleaned off my desk a job I dislike. Only to leave the house and hubby piled things all over my desk. :# I swear he does it to drive me crazy. Have a great night everyone.

Yesx3 today. I got everything done today! Thank goodness. I cannot believe I had to use all 3 passes this past week. Smh. When it rains, it pours, I guess.

I had a wonderful weekend with the granddaughters!! My favorite time was when I took Phoebe with me to the woods and we built a fire and then did exercise by walking and carrying fallen branches back to our fire. We did that for one hour.
    Exercise: 0k
Calories: a couple of hundred calories under limit
    Tracking: ok

The deciduous tunnel. Well there are actually less leaves now. A couple of weeks ago maybe. The cult of the climbing road. I love going here early.

@bocasdelbob HAHA I love your stories. Of course I would want to be an extra! you never know if you will be discovered and become famous ;)

Exercise? I did lots of housework today. Why is it that laundry NEVER ENDS? I swear I feel like it is a second job! I guess that is the down fall of working out again, is that it doubles the amount of laundry! :( My husband and I are hosting Thanksgiving at our house so we thought we would get a jump start on sanitizing the house. That is a good workout..

Calories/Tracking? Tracked every BLT (including the yogurt melts I stole from my toddler) and stayed below my goal

    Exercise: Yes
    Calories: Yes
    Tracking: Yes

I had a late Saturday night/Sunday morning, tracked everything, stayed within my calories, and even got a walk in. I usually would just stop tracking after an odd day like that. This group is really doing a great job at keeping me accountable.

Yes x 3. Thanks to lots of planning and scouting restaurant menu ahead of time (went out to dinner with friends).
All good for my brother and his family in NZ. Some light damage but will be just fine.
