Do you mean net carbs? I don't concern myself with what shows on the nutrition pie chart regarding carbs. I know what I ate and know that if it showed net versus gross it would be at my goal of 5% or less. When mine is showing something greater than my chosen 5% (gross) it is only because I ate something nutritious with a lot of fiber such as an avocado or nuts. I' m good with that.

First make a list of what you ate - and how much -- then go to certain websites - like fatsecrets.com or myfitnesspal.com and search for Nutrient value of .......... -- and you can find total carbs, dietary fiber, sugar and other carbs ..

Where did you get the idea of 5 % carb-- I have seen some people eat 3 % or even 1 % --

Write down what you eat for lunch and dinner - in details - like item and quantity --
then I can give you nutrients

5% carbs on MFP gives you roughly 20 grams of total carbs daily. It's the target daily goal for staying in ketosis. Some people can and like to go higher, others lower. Kind of an individual YMMV thing.

I like to use this website to find nutrition info: https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search/list?fgcd=Branded+Food+Products+Database&ds=Branded+Food+Products

The MFP database can be inaccurate, since it is mostly user-contributed info.

Yes. What she said. Other people may have their carb % at 3 or 1 because their overall calories are higher so they need a lesser % to be under 20 grams OR they might just want to keep carbs lower for whatever reason guides them.
