It's been a long time for me to do LC-High Protein diet for me.
would you consider the dressing recipe below LC as long as I leave out the sugar?
Servings: About 1 cup, enough for 4-5 salads
Ingredients
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, from one lemon
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar, best quality such as Lucini
1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon minced garlic, from about 2 cloves
1/2 cup plain whole milk Greek yogurt
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, best quality such as Lucini
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve. The dressing keeps well for 3-4 days.

This would have only ~1 carb per tablespoon. I would find that acceptable and consider it low carb however I personally would be using only 1 or 2 tablespoons per salad.1

@tmoneyag99 ...I'm not sure if you know about this or not, but MFP has a recipe builder feature which allows you to input, save and keep recipes. You simply create the recipe, scan the bar-code of the ingredients you use, specify the amount of each ingredient used, and MFP will tell you how many carbs, sugars, proteins, etc. each serving contains (but you do need to tell MFP how many servings the recipe makes). I love the recipe feature myself and I used it all the time, I mean literally every week.1

@ladipoet... is this Premium or free MFP?0

@canadjineh - the free version has the recipe builder. I prefer the old recipe builder which is still an option.
Also, I've found when you download a recipe from a site (allrecipes.com as an example) they often need corrected because they'll include some silly, incorrect ingredient from the data base.0 -
I have a few of my own meals on my food log site but I often change around ingredients depending on what's in the fridge. I've never scanned anything - I hate the app and use my browser on my tablet. I never use my phone for MFP. Is that section the old recipe builder you are referring to @kpk54?0

Yes @canadjineh . The Old Recipe Calculator/Builder as shown on the website/desktop. I've tried building recipes using the app on my phone or tablet and never got the "hang" of it. Very frustrated. The website desktop version is so simple to build, add/delete ingredients. On the right side of the screen midpoint (when in recipes) it reads something like "Use Old Calculator".
Unfortunately, a couple of years ago when the "new improved" builder came out something that seemed to get deleted on the website/desktop was the option to sort the recipes alphabetically. I could spend forever just looking for the specific recipe I wanted from my collection. So now I shuffle back and forth between the app and the desktop for different things. The app allows sorting. The web version seems to reflect last used, first.0 -
Anyone figure out how to use the recipe builder to accurately track homemade, full-fat broth? I'm at a total loss.0

@candjineh...I believe it's part of the free version (at least it was when I joined over 2 years ago).0
