More often than not, I find that I can't tell I'm full. It's a strange feeling. Does anyone else experience this?

I can relate! I have this strange feeling too...as long as I know I have food I don't feel full...I can end up eating double and triple portions. Then my belly sends a signal it is stuffed...but I still feel hunger...

I think I tend to do the same thing. I don't feel "full" until I've completely binged SO MUCH that I can't eat any more. I think sometimes when I'm eating, it's just a way to ignore bad thoughts or stresses that are happening. Trying to pay more active attention to whether I'm truly hungry and I think it's helping some.

Wonder if emotion blocking is blocking my ability to sense a full stomach? Does this even make sense?

Not sure if it's a chemical thing or what. Sometimes I think I stress eat so I don't have the depressive thoughts (which makes no sense because i always feel worse after i binge). I know that when i consistently take my medication I can actually tell when I'm full, so maybe it has to do with neurotransmitters?
