You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

Hello Everyone, I have been having a bad bad 2 weeks for sure. I have to stop the bleeding. The year anniversary of my Mothers death was Friday Oct 28th, and the 2 week binge is OVER. I saw 400+ several times last week, up and down, up and down. It has not been this bad in a long time. Looking to get back on it today.

Hearts as there is only 4 of us for the last few months was wondering if you would like to start a new group just for us...Just a thought1 -
Happy Wednesday everyone. lets keep this thing going. I know it is tough to check in especially if you are not happy with your day, but being accountable helps. You are not accountable to the rest of us, just yourself. but writing it down can be a very effective way to get back or stay on track.
Sherri- I am not the pool person, that is Hearts. she loves it. I don't have a convenient pool to go to. but I need to get in a workout.
Hearts- how is your week going? keep moving forward and be kind to yourself.
Molly- Good job with your check in and your no fast food. You can do this. I so admire you for being honest with yourself and just move forward. it is about persistence and progress not perfection. Right now it is what it is and you can continue to make changes.

Hello Everyone!
Good job on checking and goals reached this week. Half way there almost. I had a good and long cry last night. It felt good -- and I felt much better after it and made it home and No FF - and fixed a nice healthy dinner at home! FF is my vice for comfort food. I am not like most who prefer sweets and chips. and I do feel FF are worst and more fatty. Either way I know between the FF and Halloween candies, my binges were off the charts. So far too good days for sure. I had some candies but not excessive and within my calories.
and I was back in the 399 range this morning. Nothing like seeing that 4 to knock me back into reality and my Mom would not want me to go back up to 600+

Evening all,
Well I went to Orthopedic doctor today and no news there. I have severe arthritis and they will not consider surgery unless my BMI is 40 or less. That translates to weighing 270 or less.
So now they will work with me to manage the pain and she wants me to start going to a pool to do exercises to build my muscle up around my knees. Problem with that is I do not like pools and have not been in one in over 30+ years!! So 2nd option is a stationary bike.
We have a stationary bike at my job so I am going to see if I can go in with my co-workers at night time to see how the bike feels. I will come back to do up date. I have to do some real soul searching hear and not sure I am ready to do so but I am NOT ready to throw in the towel either. This is by far the best Ortho dr in Chicago area and this is the 3rd one I have been to in 3 years trying various options and she is the 1st one to break it down for me. Nothing I did not know, but it certainly helps to have a dr not afraid to tell be the honest truth and of course the tears started rolling while she gave me the cortizone shots in both knees.

I cry at the smallest things. I miss my Mom so much. You know I am a Jehovah Witness and we do not celebrate holidays or birthdays. So there are times I have not remembered her birthday because it means nothing to us. Funny how I never thought that I would never forget the day she died. Does it ever get better? I hope so...1

@Lost_it - Thanks so much. Today I feel better. Yesterday despite all of the stress of the day, I fought the FF monster even though I was not in the green on calories, the scale showed a loss and I know this is because I fought the urge to give in the what I really wanted.
@Lost_it - Great job on checking in and workouts! I feel your on that darn candy!! lol But the last 2 days at work I stuck to hard candies and 4 starbursts and no chocolates. I have dark chocolate and fiber bars at work for the chocolate and cookie monsters. These have never been my real weaknesses so I can stop with a few pieces and move on.
@forestrose910 - Good job on getting in those steps and checking in too! I see all of are checking in more this week and I know it is helping us be more mindful of our goals if nothing else.
