2.18 mile. I found a new park today. I have driven by it a few times and I have never seen anyone walking there. I decided today to check it out. I walked a quarter mile and came upon 3 sets of stairs (15 steps each) leading to the walking trail. My shins still aching I decided to give it a go. I climbed the stairs and continued on. The trail went approximately .5 mile and came to an abrupt end. Crap. I turned around and walked the trail again so I could get at least a mile of walking in. I returned to the stairs and climbed down and then I decided to climb up and down those stairs 5 more times. What a burn! My shins are on fire. My heart rate was up and I was having fun. I will pay for this.....I am sure of it. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. Today is my birthday and I was feeling feisty. LOL This old gal still has some spunk in her!1 -

5 mile walk today. I promised myself that I would take it easy today. LOL It feels good to get out there in the chill and just go. I am surprised my shins are not worse from yesterday. I will rest tomorrow.1 -

Hope all the Americans had a great Thanksgiving and didn't over eat too much. I learned to make a lot of sugar-free things this year because my sister is diabetic and I wanted her to enjoy as much as possible. Sugar free apple and pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce (cooked) are great when you make them with Truvia and does that stuff cut the calories!!!! Holy Smokes I was pleasantly surprised! I should have one this before! :laugh:

3 mile walk with the grandpup. He did okay until we came across other dogs.1 -
Well today was the first day in months that I did my video I only did the 20 min walk because I rode my stationary bike followed by minimal about of weights. Need to build up. I have been getting up early like 3 to 4 am and start exercising soon after which is great, but I think I went to bed a 7.30pm. lol
but I am happy that I have started back up. PS loving my new fitbit.3 -

I am proud of you. Good for you getting up early and getting it done. I often get my walks done before sunrise and get to bed early. To me there is no better way to start the day besides golfing at sunrise.
I miss my FitBit. I have a Garmin Vivofit but I prefer the FitBit. I was recently asked what piece of technology could I not live without. My answer was my Garmin. I could give up my phone, computer and tv but not my tracker. LOL0 -

2 mile hike this afternoon with the grandpup. So much fun. I did not reach my goal this month and I am okay with that. This is the 2nd time in 2 years and it is what it is. As of today I have now walked 3810.33 miles. Moving on to December and not looking back.2
