Fat Adapted? Not Sure... But Gained Some

Okay I didn't eat breakfast much last week. I wasn't hungry due to cold or whatever it was. So, was I starving by lunch each day? Nope. So, I kinda liked it that way. The scale Saturday morning read 221.6.. I was like yeah. So, the weekend came. Had a good breakfast, went to a college football game. Ate a little vinegar based bbq, no bun. That night, I ate bison burger, no bun, with asparagus. I did have two bourbons. Just small glass. Mixed with a shot of water in each. Sunday, good breakfast. Munched a little on pork rinds. Then, a good supper of two grilled dry rub chicken wings, and a small burger patty and cauliflower mash.
Now, the bad. I don't think I drank enough water over the weekend. I did have some tea Sunday with some Stevia (this might not be bad). Coffee had Truvia in it for breakfast (this might not be bad either). So, scale this morning read 223.8... I know weight fluctuates, and the scale isn't the be all end all. But really? I didn't even cheat, like a real cheat.
Any ideas???

my guess would be salt intake and lack of water causing water retention.. Maybe wait a couple of days and see if it goes back down.. it's seem unlikely that you would've overate by over 7000 Calories..0

You know what I'm gonna say..
It's completely meaningless.
It could be anything from actual fat to you need to poop.
Seriously. It's meaningless in the short term. 150% meaningless.10 -
I can gain two lbs from eating a big meal, even if it is low carb friendly.
I think you need to trust the process and hide your scale.4 -
Not to be too gross, but that could just be the need for a good BM. Magnesium helps with that. If you do get a bit backed up, milk of magnesium is a good option, but don't take too much and avoid the flavored kinds as they add sugar to them.0

I once gained 13 pounds overnight after a particularly huge carb refeed earlier this year. I then proceeded to leave nine of those in the bathroom over the following two days (mostly liquid).2

Well a ton of these provided my humor for the day!!! I can always depend on you all for the advice and stand up comedy bits...1

take measurements - they are much more reliable than the scale0

I think it's probably water weight. Wait a few days and then recheck. Also I don't think it's enough poundage to really worrry about.0

Oh and now the wife has made these fat bombs and this chocolate salted pecan bark and a cheesecake. All of it is keto but gosh. All that temptation. Help me folks.0

Lol. Just don't eat them. Maybe she'll eat them all herself and decide having them around is a bad idea. Good luck.0

I don't know what you need help with. Monitor your ketones. Stick to your daily macros. Eat fat bombs and bark etc. Nuff said. You got this, quit worrying.2 -
Your body was busy processing the bourbon... now it will get to the rest of it.2

No but I feel like I need to consume all of them. Good keto foods. But bad habits. I gotta refrain. I am gonna be strong! Help me!0
