Had a gastric bypass july 22 2001 feel free to ask me ?

Hey
I am just putting myself out there to anyone who has questions for a seasoned, well experienced gastric bypass patient. I lost 208 ( which was so low, I stopped menstruating) pounds only to re-gain 75 pound. I have re-visited my triggers, went low carb-low sugar and lost 34 pounds. 30 pounds to go I have calcium, b-12, D and Iron deficiencies that I deal with everyday. This surgery is not for the faint of heart and be prepared to work at it forever.

Thank you for the offer! I would be grateful for your input and guidance. I am almost one year postRNY. My surgiversary is August 7. I have lost all of my excess weight plus a little extra. My concern now is keeping it off and staying healthy!

Hi I'd like to take you up on the offer. I am looking for support to lose the regain. I've tried low carb low sugar and them when I fall off I fall hard and regain everything plus a couple pounds. I feel like I'm going in circles and haven't been able to make any real progress!!!! Help, I have been exercising. I put in 6 days last week and lost 1.5 pounds. Is that typical at this stage. I am 9 years out and would like to get to 150. I had a baby a year ago and here I am. Struggling with my weight.

Hi, I could use your advice. I almost died when the doctor weighed me the other day. I gained 30 pounds. I am so upset with myself. I am 2 year post op from a gastric bypass and I od on crackers, cheese, etc. I cannot eat a lot of solid food still.
Anyway, I have seen the nut and she can't seem to help me because I am not eating properly. So, I am here wondering how to get this weight off. Has my stomach gone back to the size I had before.
I really need your help. thanks for offering.

Have you not been compliant with taking your vitamins and supplements or does your body not absorb them? What are you doing now to get your levels back into the acceptable range?
