Vacation nerves - suggestions needed

I had my sleeve on 7/1/13. All has been pretty good far adjusting to food. I am just on my first week of pureed foods. I am going away for the weekend to the lake with a childhood friend and we are staying at a B&B (this trip was planned way before my surgery was even scheduled). I have already contacted the proprietor regarding my dietery limitations for breakfast and she was absolutely warm and receptive to what I am able to have. So I am confident that will go pretty smooth. My concern is the rest of the day. For my protein drinks I intend on bringing premixed and freezing them in advance so they stay cold in my cooler that I am bringing. I also intend on brining unflavored powder (already premeasured out in lilttle containers) to add wherever I can. Any suggestions on how to navigate lunch and dinner in restaurants?. I do have some ideas, but thought I would put this out there to see if anyone has experience with this. After all, why reinvent the wheel - lol. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Dining out is always a challenge. Soups are my go to choice. Mashed potatoes or cottage cheese are usually available,at this point, the biggest down fall is ordering way to much food and feeling guilty about not eating most of it.

As far as protein drinks go, with all the traveling I do, I found the convenience of pre measured packets of "Unjury" powder a staple. They even have a chicken soup that tastes good. I ask for a smack teapot of water and mix it in the tea cup

My other eat out staple is poached eggs.
red lobster has been very accommodating, as the children's meal has a soft grilled white fish with mashed potatoes. My surgeon gave me a card recommending the restaurant allow me to order of children's meals. The restaurants that agree are the ones we go back to.
